What is Pre-K Counts?

Pennsylvania’s Pre-K Counts program provides tuition-free preschool for eligible families, ensuring that all children—regardless of income—have access to the education they need to develop essential skills and succeed in kindergarten.

Who is Eligible?

Children who meet the following criteria may qualify for Pre-K Counts:
✔️ Age 3 or 4 by September 1st of the school year.
✔️ Pennsylvania resident.
✔️ Family income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level (FPL).
✔️ Children with special needs or other risk factors may also qualify.
